….Awesome. I don’t know who had more fun, Me or the kids I got to share the day with. It started out like most days on the Peninsula. Overcast with intent of rain, mist, fog, and everything to make one green. On the plus side of the day, the temperature was comfortable and made for the opportunity to get some shots of the kids.
Didn’t take them long to warm up and make some moments to remember. I hope you enjoy them as much as I. After all it’s all about sharing.
The BUSINESS:
This is where I will post articles related to business development and promotional aspects of the Affiliate Market. This is not a pass or fail course, this is a work in progress, a learning experience that will complement those who take action and get involved in building their own business.

In a passing conversation this morning the subject of Twitter came up. I’ll be the first to admit I do not understand Twitter or how it works. I do know that it has a forwarding connection on my blog-website and that it makes for some simple “Pass it on” when one wants to share the article or whatever one wants to promote.
My friend commented that Twitter was like a Spammers freeway and that he didn’t appreciate spending his time wading through all the affiliate Spam on Twitter, especially when it’s continually repeated. I think what he’s encountered is the same thing I run into. Someone connects and follows you and you want to return the favor, but when you get on their page, all you see is the same message sent like forever. Worst case scenario, it’s their landing page, boring. Some have a promotional video embedded on the capture page. What they are missing is bringing something of value to the table.
Ask yourself, is this what the professional marketers do? Have you ever watched Mike Dillard? Would he use this approach? For those who don’t know Mike Dillard let me tell you he is the master at Network Marketing. He’s the one who made Network Marketing a Professional Business by educating himself in what works and what don’t. Developed marketing strategies, eliminated scam and brought value to a growing audience.
Twitter is it a freeway for Spam or just misunderstood or just misused, I don’t know. I think it’s a gateway for like minded individuals to exchange ideas and concepts in related business and interest at least that is the way it should be used. Got jokes, an article or anything worth sharing, Tweet it.
It’s when you start bringing value and purpose to the table, by making exceptional comments on other people’s blogs or articles. That’s when you will develop a following of value. The pros will tell you that it’s people who attract people not product. To move product you need the following, then you can make the recommendation on product or whatever you desire to market.
I will do some due diligence on this subject later on, for now, to be true to my audience (not to mention ethical). I’m on a major learning curve as this is my Plan B for a career change.

A CAT STORY
The other day I was going over some ads on CraigsList in search of Social Groups of some relevant interest.
During that search I came across one ad that caught my attention regarding a missing cat. The person who placed the ad made comment that she had placed posters and ads around the community. Apparently, a person of interest saw the poster and informed her that he saw her cat or one like it in an area one would not consider.
You see, her cat came up missing and was located clear across town. Her ad got me to thinking that maybe our cat had been abducted as well, slim chance but a flicker of hope just the same. In contacting her, came the response and location of what turns into a potential Human Interest story or a conflict in discussion, pending ones view-point.
Today I had full intention on going their to video a documentary of sorts. Once I located the place I noticed that there was food and containers of fresh water placed in the crevices of the boulders. A short time later another vehicle pulled up. The driver, immediately went to work to feed the cats fresh canned food. Wanting to know more about what was going on and needing some intelligent information as not all things are as they seem, I began the conversation.
Warning: This next part of the story is important as it’s the reason I’m reluctant to even post it.
Shortly into our conversation I advised Fred what my intentions were. He then told me of another incident of a couple of woman who went to the Newspaper with the story just so they could get their names in the paper. The end result only added to the abandoned population of cats. More people dumped their’s, and three of them were pregnant cats.
Here is a TIP: If you are going to be a pet owner, be a responsible pet owner. Decide if your going to be a breeder or just want a pet companion. Then take the pet in for the veterinary care it needs and requires. Have it spade or neutered, to save yourself the trouble of finding homes for unwanted litters.
For those who think it’s just a cat, they can take care of themselves. Think again, or better yet visit a rescue center and talk to them about the trauma these animals endure after neglect, abuse, and abandonment. You can see the fear, the lack of trust by their actions and response to people who approach them that they do not know.
It’s through people like Fred Westfall, that these cats have some chance. Some were born outdoors and will never be suitable for a pet. Others, with time, patience, and perseverance may find a home again. Fred told me of a rescue center out toward Sequim that has trapped and neutered or spade some of these cats. Some have found homes for others, they have people like Fred. I was surprised to learn that Fred has been doing this for near 20 years. When I asked, Fred said he spends around $170. Per month on cat food and he’s just one of a few who are involved in this silent action of humanity.
At what point does an image exceed the potential for recovery or manipulation process of a photoshop? In order to answer that question one needs to know what their camera is capable of and know how to use several of the camera settings. The other part of the equation is in the photoshop program they are using and their capabilities on using it. College courses are a great way to get involved and get your hands-on experience. An option to time and expenses of college classes would be a Home Study Course with, (or) a Quality Photoshop.
